Numeracy for Success
Suitable for those wishing to step back into education or upskill
Free Multiply courses that have been funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund have taken off throughout Powys and Neath Port Talbot.
Several different education providers throughout the region have taken full advantage of the resources available; providing Multiply courses and teaching various disciplines to improve adult numeracy skills.
Among the providers running courses are NPTC Group of Colleges, who are currently running free Numeracy for Success Classes in Neath Port Talbot, learners are able to join at any point in the academic year and gain invaluable skills in Maths in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
This project offers flexible numeracy courses in two strands. Strand 1 consists of ESW level 2 qualifications, while Strand 2 focuses on delivering Agored units at level 2, covering 80% of the GCSE specifications. The topics covered include statistics and number, algebra, graphs, data handling, and probability.

Wednesday at our Neath College, 9:30am to 12:00pm

Friday at the Library in Port Talbot, 9:30am to 12:00pm
